What you’ll be doing
As a Finance & Risk Consultant at Marble, you’ll work closely with a senior Marble colleague, while regularly engaging with your client on-site. What makes working at Marble so exciting? The variety. You’ll quickly learn the ins and outs of the finance world as you tackle a range of dynamic tasks.
Your previous experience at a Big 4 firm, within accountancy, or in the finance department of a scale-up will be put to good use here—only from the other side of the table. We don’t conduct audits ourselves; instead, we support the process, bridging the gap between the auditor and our client. Thanks to your ability to speak both languages, you’ll add immense value, striking the right balance and ensuring all stakeholders are happy.
Depending on the project, your role may involve
Building and maintaining cashflow forecasts and business plans
Preparing and facilitating audits on behalf of our clients
Identifying risks and establishing risk & control frameworks
Advising on and implementing internal controls
Creating reports and setting up accompanying processes
Supporting the monitoring of actuals versus budget and day-to-day financial management
