What you’ll be doing

As a Manager of Risk & Control at Marble, you’re in charge of your team, working with one or more clients to drive success. You’ll guide and coach your colleagues, helping them build both their technical and consultancy skills, while making sure that planning is always on point for you and your team throughout each project.

In this role, stepping into the shoes of a finance manager or CFO will often be part of the job, positioning you as an indispensable sparring partner for clients. Collaborating closely with them, the focus will be on developing project plans that prepare their finance teams, processes, and reporting for growth. Complex accounting challenges will be tackled, while driving the optimisation and automation of processes. Additionally, supporting clients in building and training their finance teams or guiding them through IPOs will be key. Whatever the challenge, you’ll be the trusted finance consultant they rely on.

At Marble, we don’t audit ourselves—but we do play a critical role in supporting the audit process from the client side. You’ll act as the link between the client and the auditor, adding value by speaking both languages fluently. Your job will be to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and content, balancing their needs to achieve the best outcomes.

Guide your Marble team on:



Building and maintaining cashflow forecasts and business plans



Preparing and facilitating audits from the client side



Identifying risks and setting up a risk & control framework



Advising on the implementation of internal controls and making sure they’re actually carried out



Creating reports and setting up the right processes to support them



Coaching and guiding junior Marble colleagues as well as your client-side team



Lending your finance expertise to major IT implementations


